I’m surprised we didn’t see more of it here in Australia to be honest. A single-speed bike does not come with shifting gears and can be used for both mongoose fat bike children and adults. Most Mongoose single-speed bikes, such as the Mongoose 700C or the 20-inch Mongoose Brawler Freestyle, are urban/road bikes.
The Mongoose Legion L60 Bike is a good entry level BMX bike for someone on the slightly taller side. A few posts up there is a link to the new Mongoose bikes that are supposed to be as good as anyone else’s and are not walgoose editions. I dont own any American bikes, but I love my Taiwanese rides. I have a Taiwanese 2000 Dyno Compe that mongoose fat bike I just adore. The thing rides so good that my daughter just bought a 1999 off of craigslist.
