The only one of that style that I had a hard time with was the SIC. It has an incredibly tight seal (which is great in some ways), but it was incredibly difficult to take off without spilling water when it was full. I have to admit, I’m really surprised at how impressed I was by all of them. At the 4 hour mark, they all still had ice and were in the chilly 30 degree range.

For the last hour, the tumbler was not being blasted by direct sunlight anymore. After a brief rain shower around noon, the sun came out and stayed out. At the six hour mark, the pavement temperature soared to 142.4deg. The external temperature of the Yeti rose to 122.9deg, the Orca rose to 110.3deg and the Ozark Trail climbed to 117.3deg. The Yeti has now drained 8 ounces of water, the Orca drained 7 ounces and the Ozark Trail drained 8 ounces.

This 40oz double wall stainless steel tumbler will keep you hydrated all day long with less refills. It is made of food grade stainless steel which is firm and rustproof. The large handle keeps this tumbler handy and easy to carry wherever you go. Crafted from robust 18/8 stainless steel with a sleek powder coating finish, this tumbler stands the test of time, resisting scratches, rust, and the mingling of flavors. Its ergonomic handle promises a comfortable grip, making it an ideal companion for any journey.

The two tumblers are also very good in keeping beverage cold. You can use the lid of the Ozark to seal the Yeti tumbler, and vice versa. While the lid seals in tightly, there are still complaints about the contents spilling over. Nothing came out of the Orca and Ozark Trail and only 2 small drops drained from the Yeti. The only time the tumblers were moved was during the draining process and to keep the tumblers in full sun.

The pavement temperature rose to 144.8deg, the highest temperature measured all day. The Yeti had an external temperature of 111.5deg, the orca 104.7deg and the Ozark Trail was measured at 122.9deg. The Yeti drained a total of 11 ounces of water, the Orca 10 ounces and the Ozark Trail 12 ounces. This is the first time that less than ozark trail chair half the ice remained in the tumblers and it was melting fast. There’s a lot of hype around it, but it lives up to it all!

In total I had 6 of their double wall vacuum insulated thermoses, ranging in size from the 10oz Tumbler up to the 32oz ozark trail backpack Tumbler. All in all, both mugs do an incredible job at insulating both hot and cold drinks for hours on end. Additionally, when holding each tumbler, I couldn’t feel any heat or chill through the material, which makes either ideal for drinking exceptionally hot or cold drinks. The Ozark Trail tumbler won our second ice retention challenge, this time but a wider margin. It held ice in brutal Alabama August heat for 12 hours and 42 minutes. One reason the Ozark Trail tumbler held ice so much longer may be due to the fact that the sun was so low in the sky.

It comes in a few fun colors and there’s also a five year warranty that comes with every Yeti purchase. You can put the Yeti tumbler anywhere in the dishwasher but the Yeti lid should always be on the top rack. This is what makes Yeti different from many other insulated tumblers. Yeti has set the standard for insulated tumblers and coolers. Whichever stainless steel tumbler you choose, you will likely find you carry it with you often.

However, we have personally washed the Ozark brand water bottles and tumblers in the dishwasher at my house without issue for years. The 10 hour mark was where the biggest differences began to show. Nothing had ice left, but surprisingly they all maintained a fairly cool temperature. I would say you could expect ANY of these brand to keep your water cold for at least 6 hours, which is really probably as long as you would need them to anyway.
