She is very personable and was attentive to our needs and took the time to be sure everyone was doing okay and having a splendid holiday. She was knowledgeable about every part of the itinerary and added life to every aspect of our trip. She also answered questions without hesitation and ALWAYS HAD a smile for us. Occasionally, she would treat us to a joke to make us laugh. She was sure to verbally tell what the next day would bring and followed up in writing to be sure everyone was fully aware of what was coming.
I traveled solo and on the first day I felt very welcome within the group. Each day was better than the one before. We stayed on time, and she navigated border crossings and airport challenges with grace and knowledge.

As a multi-trip, 3 continent Gate 1 traveler, I can say that Lawrence is a outstanding tour manager. He provides great information spanning many appropriate topics. He is also a very diligent risk manager, which is important for your guests. I will surely continue to travel with Gate 1 as I already have 2 more trips booked.
We have visited 46 countries and this trip rates at the top with much of the credit going to Laurence. Overall, another great experience in Africa and Gate 1 trip. I also like that he is English as am I and we have the similar culture and views in common. We always felt safe, despite the crime rate in the country evidenced by the security protections on most/ all buildings ! I would be very schwinn electric bike happy to travel with John again in Africa .
