Great for backyard overnights, this simple dome-style tent is for anyone who doesn’t want to spend more than $150 on a tent but also doesn’t want to buy another one next year. It has a partial rain fly, but only one door and no vestibule. I bought this tent and was very dissatisfied, two off the poles snapped right where they connect in the silver part. This is the first time to use this tent so it was brand new. The legs are locked into place with old school metal push button locks, something you won’t see on many modern pop up tents now-a-days.
The reviews when I bought it were 4 out of 5 stars 290 people. Didn’t get a chance to set it up before we went camping. I don’t know if it leaks because there was no rain and I only set it up in a friend’s backyard so the kids could camp out overnight. I wish I still had my receipt because I would return this poor excuse for a tent and get my money back. I will never buy another dome tent, and now I wish I would have checked the reviews before I bought this one.
The only drawbacks to this tent are that there is a weather protecting flap over the door zipper that is kept in place by an elastic band which causes the flap to pull in toward the zipper and snag occasionally.
