It puffs up about half an inch, so kind of good. The bag is machine-washable and the lightweight design fits easily in both the washer and dryer. If they wanted to skimp on fabric, it should have been used on the outside and bottom of the bag! Not on the interior where comfort is the main issue.

I notice this isn’t the first review with this complaint. The zipper broke on my warm weather bag on the second night out. Too bad too because overall I’ve had good luck with Ozark Trail stuff.

The only way you would sleep well in this bag is if you are under 5’5″ and very slender and use it summer nights or maybe push it to early fall. I would not recommend this ozark trail canopy product to anyone unless I wanted them to freeze and get a terrible night’s sleep. I nearly froze to death on the trail, and craftsmanship is garbage (to put it mildly).

Our sleeping bags zip together, allowing us to take advantage of the shared body heat. Pairing these strategies together made it reasonably comfortable at that temperature. The bag on its ozark trail canopy own is very comfortable down to the 30-degree range. With the return of the colder weather, it is time to pull out our winter sleeping bags. Shopping for sleeping bags is overwhelming.

The bottom layer is insulated with hollow fill fiber to help keep warm up to 40 degrees. This sleeping bag I always sleep in @ night @ home because I like it better than a regular blanket. It is terribly heavy for backpacking and definitely not rated correctly. If you just can’t afford a better bag…DO NOT GO OUT IN COLD WEATHER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

This washable sleeping bag also has elastic roll-up straps that help you to fold and store it easily. We have stayed nicely warm while sleeping in the cold in this bag. Rated for 30-degrees, we have slept in it down to 13. The bag, by itself, is not very warm at that temperature.
