Good Walmart Bikes? Expert Reveals How to Maximize a Box-Store Bicycle

By taking innovation to the next level and creating the world’s best tires,we’re on that journey too. hyper bike For under $199, I found it to be better than anticipated out of the box — if properly set up.

Eric has already committed to a schedule of events, races, and other promotional opportunities to provide visibility to our effort and create the foundation for Hyper Bicycles continued involvement in Mountain Biking. Hyper plans to support and promote Mountain Biking by producing top quality products for Racers hyper mountain bike and enthusiasts. The company is seeking industry partners that share our vision of support and commitment to supporting our riders and producing highest quality parts that perform as well as they look. In terms of the 20 mile claim, we were able to easily accomplish this in city streets with minimal inclines.

Instead, we viewed success as the reduction of time from point-A to point-B, taking speed, grip, control, dependability, and rider fatigue into account. If for some reason you need to return your Hyper MTB Ebike you can do so within 30 days of your purchase at your local Walmart. If you plan to run your bike down, the charge time from flat is also in the 4 hour range as well. We are still a ways out from hunting season, so to test this bike out I threw on my 30lb ruck plate and headed over to some of the more steep inclines my city had to offer. I was able to easily make it up each hill with little effort and this is exactly what I was looking for from a budget Ebike. Hyper Bike Company has a really large offering for everyone in the family, with bikes for kids and adults.

There is a plastic safety stand at the bottom of the front tire fork that you will need to first remove from the bike, grab it and pull it down to remove it. The Right pedal will be labeled with an “R” and the Left with an “L” sticker. If you want to ride trails, you’ll likely need to spend around $200 plus to get something a light trail won’t instantly beat down. And make sure it has a threadless headset and a derailleur with a replaceable hanger. The MT-10 takes a significant step forward in technological advancement with the addition of Yamaha’s state-of-the-art six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit.

One feature about the Hyper MTB Ebike that I really like is that the battery is removable. I think Apple started us down a path of non-removable batteries that a lot of electronics manufacturers have adopted but, the trouble with that is that it isn’t user friendly. With the Hyper MTB Ebike, you can charge your bike with the battery installed or removed, which I personally love. If you ride your bike for the day and take your battery down to zero, you can still use your bike as a standard rider while your battery is back at camp or home charging up.

As far as the ride goes, this bike is really comfortable and well built. This model has a 29″ frame built for riders 6′ and up, but Hyper also has a comparable bike with a 26″ frame for riders below 6′. It also comes stock with a Shimano 6 grip shifter and Shimano rear derailleur. Shimano is a household name in the bike industry and supply parts for a number of manufacturers, so as far as the gear system goes, you are in good hands. The Hyper MTB Ebike is honestly one of the most reasonably priced Ebikes that I have come across while scouring the web. One of the biggest things that we were looking for was a bike that was a fit physically and also had enough capability to haul additional weight for our gear when hunting.

Test the hand brakes to make sure that they work correctly for both the front and back tire. First, slide the front reflector light onto the handlebars and tighten it up using your Philips head screwdriver. Proceed to slide the handlebars onto the bike’s body, it should slide down without any problems. If it gets stuck, adjust the rotating screw at the bottom of the handlebar so that it aligns correctly with the bike’s body and slide it in place. Do both the screw that connects to the body and the other top screw at the top of the handlebars. That said, the first thing is to start with a bike that can be upgraded.
