This e-bike offers a maximum speed of 15.5 mph and a maximum range of 15 miles per charge, with a charge time of 4 hours. Comes complete with a suitable adjustable seat, LED hyper bicycles headlights and rear lights, rear disc brake, and 14-inch air-filled front and rear tires! The Back tire isn’t fitted in place correctly and is slightly too high up on the rear tire axle shaft. It appears to be tightened in place and secure by the nut screw, but it creeps me out a bit that if the nut were to unscrew a bit the tire would fly out….
The biggest problem I’ve seen is improper assembly and setup. Even a big-name bike can give a miserable experience if it isn’t set up properly. And sadly, this is an area in which most big-box stores are lacking. I weigh 190lbs and on a straight road, I get up to 19mph which is way faster then what I need. I go so many places on this bike that I would have never gone to if I had to do all the peddling. I can move thru the orange groves around here so much easier then before.
I stripped the bike down to the carbon frame (2 pounds 13 ounces) and rebuilt it from the ground up. And I shopped around for a month or two until I found deals on all the parts. I have to say that I was far less skeptical of a pedal assist Ebike after breaking this out and taking it for a ride. What I found with the Hyper Ebike, is that pedal assistance in this case does not mean that you are putting in a tremendous amount of effort to use the motor. All that is required of the rider is a quick revolution of the pedals every so often to keep the motor engaged and working for you. If you are maxing this bike out at weight capacity and going up a steep hill, you will need to put a bit more effort in.

The reality is that each new feature has to either increase price or take away from something else to compensate. That’s how bikes end up with a front disc brake and a rear rim brake. Most people don’t ride on mountain bike trails, so make sure you avoid bikes with features you don’t need. I was a bit surprised by this because the manufacturer should have sent us the part since the bike was just ordered brand new and we had the order number and receipt.
This bike is quiet, so I have been able to get close to some of the wildlife roaming in these parts, (wild hogs, turkeys,etc.). I ride this bike almost every day and the battery has not given out on me so far. I have used this bike to help round up my neighbors cows from the orange groves when ever they decide to take a tour. I am very satisfied with this bike and I recommend hyper bike it to anyone who likes to ride a bike without all the hassles of having to do all the peddling yourself. There are instances where that may be somewhat accurate because there are certainly some questionable bikes I’ve seen on the shelves at big-box stores. So I would ask them to define “good bike,” because the meaning of that can vary greatly from person to person.
