Though we’re a bike shop that sells, builds and fixes bicycles, they’re really just the means to an end; albeit a beautifully designed means to an idyllic end. Our job most importantly is to encourage as many people as we can to get out and ride for transport and enjoyment. We’d love to make riding a bike as commonplace as your morning cup of coffee, which by the way is our other obsession. There’s also a posh Croix de Fer in 931 guise, the Equilibrium and Day One get disc brakes and the prototype Fugio 853 makes it into production – just in time for Vin Cox to thrash it across the TransIowa. Disc brakes for drop bars become a reality and we match them with our latest invention, the Croix de Fer. One year on Vin Cox set off from The Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London.

At the time, we weren’t sure if people would get it, so we hedged slightly, labelling it as a cross bike in the truest sense of the word. However, through our online retail partner Freewheel, you are able spread the cost of your new bike via a finance scheme. We recommend noting down your frame number (located on the underside of the Bottom Bracket) and using one of the many online services available.
