Joining the esteemed ranks of Mazza, Martello and Mota, Mostro assumes the mantle of the “M,” offering gravity mountain bikers … Like all other larger batteries, it’s recommended that you throw the battery on the charger every 4-6 weeks so that you don’t allow it to become completely drained. Lithium-ion batteries can experience performance issues once they get to a state of having no charge, so a quick charge every so often will keep your battery healthy long term.
One feature about the Hyper MTB Ebike that I really like is that the battery is removable. I think Apple started us down a path of non-removable batteries that a lot of electronics manufacturers have adopted but, the trouble with that is that it isn’t user friendly. With the Hyper hyper mountain bike MTB Ebike, you can charge your bike with the battery installed or removed, which I personally love. If you ride your bike for the day and take your battery down to zero, you can still use your bike as a standard rider while your battery is back at camp or home charging up.
I don’t blame the bike for this but the seller and manufacturer. Even when we tried contacting both the seller and manufacturer they didn’t want to just ship a part out, they instead wanted us to ship the entire thing back and gives us a whole new bike set. That would have been fine, but we had already assembled most of the mountain bike and we didn’t want to repack the entire thing just to ship it out and get another mountain bike that we would have to reassemble. This Class 1 electric bike features a pedal assist mode for up to 20 mph to offer a little help while trekking up a steep incline. The E-Ride includes both front and rear V-brakes for enhanced stopping power and front suspension forks for a comfortable ride wherever your adventures take you.
The reality is that each new feature has to either increase price or take away from something else to compensate. That’s how bikes end up with a front disc brake and a rear rim brake. Most people don’t ride on mountain bike trails, so make sure you avoid bikes with features you don’t need. I was a bit surprised by this because the manufacturer should have sent us the part since the bike was just ordered brand new and we had the order number and receipt.
This bike is quiet, so I have been able to get close to some of the wildlife roaming in these parts, (wild hogs, turkeys,etc.). I ride this bike almost every day and the battery has not given out on me so far. I have used this bike to help round up my neighbors cows from the orange groves when ever they decide to take a tour. I am very satisfied with this bike and I recommend it to anyone who likes to ride a bike without all the hassles of having to do all the peddling yourself. There are instances where that may be somewhat accurate because there are certainly some questionable bikes I’ve seen on the shelves at big-box stores. So I would ask them to define “good bike,” because the meaning of that can vary greatly from person to person.
