The Pelican also features a different pull handle than the Yeti and Ozark coolers as well. I do think the Pelicans pull handle is the lowest on my list of the three. As far as color options go, you can purchase this in one of two colors, Greystone which is the one featured in this article and a lighter grey.
Especially at the clearance price you can get now. I drooled over all the lightweight packs from the major manufacturers for a few years. There’s no way I can justify paying five times more for something that might carry just as well.

It was pretty easy to make adjustments from the side door access. End-door access would have made it more difficult. I have noticed that when I fill the bag up full or close to full it puts stress on the stitching.
Plan accordingly and carry or cache water in case you are not able to find a source close by. Always treat any water for drinking and cooking along the trail. The only issues I have with the bag is that the stitching isn’t as good as you might find on the more expensive bags and its weight. The Ozark does need those pegs in the ground to be self-standing so setting up on rocks would be infeasible (at least without applying some clever tenting skills). Not the best ozark trail backpack choice for long trips or hikers who need to carry a large amount of gear. A perk of hiking lesser-traveled trails are fewer (or non-existent) permits and parking fees.

It’s sized to fit every airline’s carry-on size requirements. My son and daughter each took one of these on a trip through Europe and they carried it on every plane, train, and bus they rode without any problems. It’s also small enough that it wasn’t inconvenient for them to have it with them everyday.
