My experience with Ozark Trail equipment has been to reinforce the old adage “you get what you pay for”. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good screen house spend the additional money and get a Swiss Gear. Don’t try to save a few dollars and end up with a POS like this one. Broke all four corner hubs and bent all 1b poles beyond repair.
Despite this minor issue, the tent’s strong poles and zippers gave me confidence that it would last for many more camping trips. As someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, I recently tried out the Ozark Trail 13×11 Screen Tent with Two Large Entrances Red. This tent has proved to be a handy addition to my camping gear. It lets you enjoy the beautiful outdoors without being eaten alive by mosquitoes or bugs. Plus, it’s great for keeping camp chairs and dog beds organized.
The canopy material is adequate but less rugged, and rainwater tends to drip through during a substantial downpour. The wheels on the roller bag are mostly cosmetic, as they are very ineffective on most terrains. That said, if you don’t expect to use your tent in rugged environments, this is a solid option for a nice big canopy tent at a bargain price. Additionally, the ozark trail canopy 14X12 is designed with convenience in mind. Its lightweight construction and compact design make it portable and easy to store when not in use. This versatility allows you to enjoy your outdoor living space at various locations, such as a campsite, a backyard, or even a beach house.
The spacious interior fit perfectly over a picnic bench in our local park, providing a comfortable and cozy space for our family of four. The Woodlands Screen House uses six lightweight aluminum poles, just like the Screen House Shelter. Like the REI model, the L.L.Bean tent uses polyester (ripstop, in this case), which is more resistant to UV damage and absorbs less moisture than nylon by weight.
The tent’s construction has left a bitter taste in my mouth. The stakes holding it down are flimsy, and the poles feel less secure than a house of ozark trail screen house cards. And oh, the rainfly barely covers the mesh top, allowing warm air to escape and giving wind a chance to lift it like a kite in the sky.
