Relaxing and rejuvenating sessions give beginners a helping hand and offer guidance and coaching for those with more experience; simply take your pick. The courses run for 8 days across a number of weeks from September 2024 followed by 1 day in February 2025. Bedgebury relies on the help of our team of extraordinary volunteers. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but must be on a 6-foot leash at all times. An 8.5-mile loop takes you around Kent Lake and has several steep hills. The steepest hill is located near the Playfield kent road bike Picnic Area. The Freedom Chair has a seat width of 20″ and a comfort cushion, 26″ mountain bike wheels, and a MIT-designed and patented lever system with a pull-back brake system.
Bedgebury is signposted off the A21 on the B2079, approximately 12 miles southeast of Tunbridge Wells and 16 miles northwest of Hastings. You will find the entrance to Bedgebury on your right hand side approximately half a mile after leaving the A21. To 10 p.m.; renters must be off the lake and out of the park by 10 p.m. Slips are located in three separate areas; kent electric bike East Boat Launch (no pontoon boats), Mitten Bay (pontoons only) and Boat Rental. Kensington Metropark is a popular fishing location in Southeast Michigan. In any season, Kent Lake presents plenty of opportunities to cast your line on the shore or from a boat.
