Lot Detail 13′ X 9′ OZARK TRAIL SCREEN HOUSE

I was wondering if anyone out there can e-mail me the manual. Step 1 – Lay Out the Screenhouse and PolesSelect a smooth, level site and spread out your screen house. Sort the poles by number and connect the sections together. One mad idea often begets another, and that is how this $34.95 purchase came about.

The overall construction is about what you expect for the price. It take 2 people at least to set this screen house up. Tried to buy replacement parts but they were discontinued. Had I have known that this particular screen house was so hard to find, I would have bought a kit and tried to repair it.

Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke. We are looking for these pieces if anyone wants to sell. We have a love-hate relationship with this screen tent.

A Pavlovian reaction to super-size doses of advertising? Greed, optimism, stinginess, and materialistic guilt thrashing together in a dance of futility that leads straight to the checkout counter? To make matters worse, sometimes I’m so ashamed of the purchase that I can’t even bring myself to return it.

She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number for the part and sent it to me right away. We bought this screen house at an auction for $5. Great for our buffet line for family camping.

We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. The rest of the process was funny too, with ozark trail canopy wimpy frizzy guylines, and inexplicable bits of plastic that are supposed to tighten them. I had to use every knot I’ve learned from rock climbing. There’s shade, and fewer bugs than outside the screenhouse.

The screen is great for nice weather. It gives great shade and it keeps flies out. We used it to put it over a little swimming pool for our children and it works great. I called to get a replacement and the customer service person I talked to was awesome!

If anyone reading this review has any idea where I can purchase another one just like it, please contact me at If you have the manual and can scan it and e-mail me I would really appreciated it. I loved sitting outside and eat dinner in the screen house and mess it.

Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screen house frame. Make sure that the pole end with the holes in the sides ( ) is pointing down. It is of poor design, in that this could be avoided using 2 more yellow, curved roof poles which would not allow the rain to puddle on the roof. ozark trail screen house My husband and I were in the screen room, keeping the rain from puddling for more than a half hour. We will not replace the 3-way hubs again. The campground received a moderate rain on the second night and the roof collected water in several places, causing the screen house to collapse.
