I purchased this Screen House two years ago. It goes up OK, poles have color coded stickers on them. Been through several severe storms while camping with no issues. Keeps sun and bugs at bay which was my main reason for buying it. Seems harder to take down than to put up. The way the poles clip into hubs is a little hard to get apart.
Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts. I have lost the instructions and the list of parts to the Screen House. I was wondering if anyone can email me the instructions and List of parts.
I had to use every knot I’ve learned from rock climbing. There’s shade, and fewer bugs than outside the screenhouse. I do have some reservations left, though. I wonder what will happen when the wind comes. Will I come home and just find the screenhouse gone, or will I see it blowing around in the street, trailing pipe segments? What about the rain, or the potential for 120-degree heat?
I hate to say it but this thing is a piece of JUNK. I could not even get the top frame together with out it either bending the poles or ozark trail screen house coming apart. The screen tent came with missing and broken parts. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements out of pocket.
I need one of part number GBLL-05 (three-way hub gable left) and one of part number GBLR-05 (three-way hub gable right). Had I have known that this particular screen house was so hard to find, I would have bought a kit and tried to repair it. If anyone reading this review has any idea ozark trail canopy where I can purchase another one just like it, please contact me at If you have the manual and can scan it and e-mail me I would really appreciated it. I loved sitting outside and eat dinner in the screen house and mess it. I was wondering if anyone out there can e-mail me the manual.
It seems like I am the second person to review this product, and the second one to give it a 1 Star rating. Goes together well, but as soon as we got a little shower…. Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, and cut my losses while I can.
It gives great shade and it keeps flies out. We used it to put it over a little swimming pool for our children and it works great. I called to get a replacement and the customer service person I talked to was awesome! She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number ozark trail screen house for the part and sent it to me right away. It is of poor design, in that this could be avoided using 2 more yellow, curved roof poles which would not allow the rain to puddle on the roof. My husband and I were in the screen room, keeping the rain from puddling for more than a half hour.
For the moment, my dream of an extra room in the back yard has come true. Wish me luck putting it up at the wedding. I borrowed this screen tent and thought it was a pain to put up…the center hub broke forcing me to duck tape it to keep it together. The new types that go right up without connections are so much better. It was a nice size though and eventually got up with extra tape. This tent is only $47 at Walmart, however that is not the point.
I came in from work one day and to my surprise it was 60 yards away from me all torn up from landing on my neighbor’s spiked fence. It was torn up pretty bad so I decided to trash it. Now and then I walk into a store, it tends to be named ___Mart, and buy something I know is going to bring nothing but grief and heartbreak. Yes, I know it will, so what gives? A Pavlovian reaction to super-size doses of advertising? Greed, optimism, stinginess, and materialistic guilt thrashing together in a dance of futility that leads straight to the checkout counter?
The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts.
