I can attribute these problems mostly to the constant use and age of the tent really. The cup holders seem ridiculous, since food should never be taken in a tent. I always put a large tarp over my tent, so I stay dry whether the tent leaks or not. I had ozark trail sun shelter a small 4 by 6 tent that everyone laughed at when we went camping.

The structure is held up by foldable poles connected by an elastic band. There is glue on the ends of the fiberglass poles that keeps the ends of the poles in the required cap. This broke apart the poles from the cap fitting. This effectively ruined the entire product. I couldn’t believe that the glue failed on both sides. Once the structure is up, all you have to do is attach the detachable sun shade.

85 outside so this should not have happened. Let me just tell you this, it doesn’t make a difference what model your tent is. The main thing is is that the zippers that you put in these tents are so substandard that it doesn’t last more than one or two camping trips. You set a new low in tents and the damn zippers you put in them.

It held up well and the stakes held pretty good. I’m not sure how it will hold up in super windy conditions as I have not been able to test that yet. “Stay protected ozark trail sun shelter from the sun with this great shelter ideal for beach, or park.” Like the Seina, our former pick for sand, the Mac Sports has a carrying capacity of up to 150 pounds.

I received my Ozark tent from my grandparents, which I used 9 years ago when we went camping with them. All and all for a cheap tent from Walmart I think it’s ok. I don’t know that I would recommend it for a beginner who doesn’t know his way around a tent. Be sure to check out our YouTube channel!

They claim they are weather tested, but I feel they don’t include rain or wind as elements of the weather. I could make a better shelter out of cardboard boxes and scotchgard. We have never been able to sleep in it and makes a poor storage room. I am 67 yrs old and have used Ozark Trail tents for years, but this covered screen dome turned out NOT TO BE A TENT.

One summer we went camping and for three days in rained and rained. Plus we had plenty of room just to move around. To anyone who needs a good size tent that is ozark trail sun shelter leak proof, this is it. I have bought four tents of the Ozark Trail dome in the past 1 1/2 years. They leak all over even after I sprayed them with the sealer.

The Ozark Trail instant sun shade was incredibly easy to put up and even easier to take down. This will be coming with us to the beach and any sporting outings where we will be exposed to the weather. We used this tent a few times and lost the rain fly, first time we used it rained and didn’t have problem but the zipper broke and got stuck. The second time we used I can’t find a new rain fly anyway. We bought this tent maybe 4 years ago they shouldn’t discontinue a line so fast. That upsets me because they know if you can’t get new parts you will buy a new one, not right or eco friendly.

It’s literally that easy and is very quick and efficient to set up. The tent is good for the money, however, i got it end of season last year and when we went camping this year, it had no rainfly/canopy. I had a huge Texas rainstorm come and it made everything wet.
