Ozark Trail 14′ x 10′ 10-Person Instant Cabin Tent

The windows and doors are with panels as mentioned above so you have all protection, but with so many zippers and windows, it is best to use it in areas without much rain. ozark trail shower tent Tent with Built in Cabin Lights is a 10-person 2-room freestanding easy to use pleasant summer camping tent with a great price tag. I have decided to show this tent side by side with two other cabin tents with the same declared capacity. As you see it is a bit lower, but it is lighter and it packs better. Above all, it is more affordable than the other two tents, please follow the links for updates. Unfortunately, the steel pole in the back of the tent did not lock into position, so this tent is defective.

I have decided to show you this Ozark Trail tent side by side with some of its competitors with the same declared capacity. Weight-wise, with its 32.6 lb (14.8 kg) this is not a lightweight tent, but this is a normal weight for such a steel construction. You will see in the comparison table below that it is lighter than some of its competitors. The poles are steel and the structure looks strong and stable. You also have 13 steel stakes included in the package. So it depends on what people understand as a screen room.

But for a family camping, it is best to downgrade this number by half. The tent is pleasant with its two large doors and 7 windows. All of them are double-layer structures with mesh and zippered panels for protection and privacy.

But in the case of a real summer camping, I see it suitable for couples or for parents with one small child. They write that it can accommodate 2 queen airbeds but you would not have much space around. This tent comes with the LED light integrated in its structure. The picture below shows the light on in one out of three modes, low, medium and high light. There is a pocket for batteries and with the switch on the ceiling, it is visible in the picture. I have included it in my list of Best Lighted Tents.

Trailspace’s community of gear reviewers has field-tested and rated the top warm weather tents. I didn’t think I had a large enough space in my backyard to pitch this tent (14×13.5) I barely squeezed it in ozark trail shower tent my yard. There is lots of mesh around and on the ceiling, so this will work great if you use the tent in a warm climate. But with so much mesh on the ceiling, I would not use this tent in a cold climate.

Seasons-wise & climate-wise, I see it best suited for summer camping without much rain and winds. This is a tall and boxy structure so it is best to use it in a quiet area. But I have seen some users reporting of using it in the winds of 50 mph. This Alps Cedar Ridge Rimrock 6 Tent is also very affordable and built in a different style. It was very difficult to roll the tent back into its original shape to return to store. I did not open these boxes because they too needed to be returned with the tent.
