Your time should be spent in recreation or relaxation, not figuring out complicated screen tents. Screen tent canopies can have many options, including floors and zippered doors. Others may take a bit longer, depending on the pole system it uses.

While it’s not waterproof, the Alvantor Screen House can hold up to six people and instantly pop-up anywhere you need protection from the critters. Plus, at 41.6 square feet of floor space and a 7-foot maximum height, this screened canopy tent is roomy and comfortable.
On the other end of the weight spectrum, the Alvantor is the best tent if you’re looking for the lightest available that also features a large usable space. Its extra weight coleman sundome makes it sturdier to withstand strong winds and heavy rain. The Gazelle is nearly the same usable size than the CLAM and it has all of the same high-end key features.
The add-on rain fly and tent-floor combo is also well liked. While the previous version of this tent used beachy-feeling aqua and orange, the current version is a drab olive green more typical of other tents. This doesn’t affect the functionality, but the brighter colors were something we previously praised. Any package that exceeds the threshold value for weight OR length, width and height is considered ‘Heavy/Oversized’, and requires a scheduled delivery.
As mentioned before, the door on the Evanston only opens halfway. This means getting your gear in and out of the tent is much harder than it should be. Add only two pockets and a weight of 20.9 lbs, and you get a tent that scores very low in the ease of use category.
