Schwinn Boundary vs Genesis Incline: I Returned One Of Them

The front shock squeaked when I went over bumps, and the front derailleur wouldn’t shift through all of the gears. I found the rear suspension on the Incline to be perfect! I’m honestly not sure if it was just my bike, or if all of these bikes are that way, but it gave just enough, but not too much suspension in the rear. The bike also offers a full suspension, which means you have shocks in the front and rear of the bike.

It is one of the few low-cost full-suspension trail bicycles with a 3×7 drivetrain that has a wider range of speed options. Some may find the 3× drivetrain more complicated to shift, but it’s a better learning curve for newbies. It’s a much better learning curve for the novice, because afterward, whether the bike is replaced with a 2× or a 1×, you’ll be able to master it more quickly.

Not too long and well balanced with none of the ‘too much weight on the wrists’ feeling that sometimes comes on trail hardtails. I must say, a lot of people don’t like low end bicycles with a full suspension, as supposedly the rear shocks tend to bounce and it makes for a pogo stick affect. It is meant specifically for taller folks like me (I’m 6′ 1″) however I think people a bit shorter than me would be right at home. Finally, for the bikepackers, the Longitude is a fully rigid, steel-framed mid-fat expedition adventure bike. You’ll find a range of materials used in Genesis bikes, though the brand is well loved for its steel offerings.

genesis bicyclesThis is one of the most common problems people struggle with when they get into saddle hunting. Inherently with the design of saddles, your bridge comes across your body, causing the saddle to wrap around your hips. This creates some hip pinch, which will cause discomfort if you spend a few hours in your saddle at a time. Like a sleeper agent activated late in the game, Elana Scherr didn’t know her calling at a young age. Like many girls, she planned to be a vet-astronaut-artist, and came closest to that last one by attending UCLA art school.
