Most folks using a screen house while camping aren’t going to be trekking into the wilderness. You have a combination of steel used for its 6+2 legs, and fiberglass used for the 4 roof poles. The elbow elements which connect the roof poles and the legs are pre-attached to the tent so you cannot lose them, see one in the picture below. However, the setup time of this huge tent is some 20 minutes or so. It is much easier to set it up with a partner, this holds in particular for the fly because of the height of the tent.
The outer material is UV sun-protected, and there are large mesh windows for ventilation. It’s easy to set up with one person in under 10 minutes and comes with a floor. The center height is very tall at seven and a half feet and features a straight wall design making it plenty big enough to fit over a picnic table. The one thing I’ll note is that this tent doesn’t hold up as well for continuous use, but frankly, none of these screen tents are designed to be permanent fixtures in your yard.
This design can sometimes mean that the entire footprint of the screen house isn’t very usable. Straight wall screen houses are best for those who want to maximize the ozark trail sun shelter usable space inside the house. If you can’t set your screen house on perfectly level ground, the skirt will make up the difference in height and keep insects out.

And the screens allow for a pleasant breeze to roll through. A good screen tent, also known as a screen room, can be set up in under a minute by only one or two people. If you’re looking to save money but still want that cabin tent experience, the Ozark Trail 10-Person Two-Room Cabin is tough to beat.
Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, and cut my losses while I can. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements out of pocket. The product is garbage and the customer service is worse.
First, Ozark Trail uses sealed seams on this tent, but the fabric itself isn’t made for a rainstorm. You’ll want to give the entire tent a thorough Nikwax treatment before taking it on the road. Second, the fabric feels thin, and a few users have reported ripping it during setup, so you’ll need to take your time both setting up and taking down this tent.
‘Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screenhouse frame’ got the first laugh. Any attempt to lift a corner and insert a leg pole resulted in pipes flying everywhere. I thought of resorting to duct tape, but since I had none handy, with great finesse I managed to lift each corner one pipe segment at a time.
I will return it to the place of purchase for a full refund and I’ll purchase another brand and I will let all my camping friends and every campground I go to about ur crappy products and service. This screen house is only 17 pounds, even with the steel frame, and it’s a good option for beginner campers looking for an easy screen house to set up. I chose the CLAM Quick-Set Pavilion as one of the best screen houses with a floor because, well, it actually has a quality floor that’s included in the price (which isn’t all that common). Another thing I really like about this product is that it’s also a great screen house for camping in the rain. The NEMO Victory Screenhouse is one of the best screen houses for wind due to its rounded shape and extra tie-downs. This REI shelter has a standard amount of room (100 square feet) with a peak height of seven feet, so lots of room for tall people. I thought so too until I discovered the magic of screen houses and how much they can up-level your average camping trip.
