NEW demo Schwinn Marshall 27 5 Step Thru Electric Bike Small Medium

Never before has an electric bike been as easy to use as one of the four Schwinn electric bikes. These step-through frames are as comfortable as ever, with a host of features to make your first-ever e-bike ride as smooth as possible. At this point, a company called Pacific Cycle purchased Schwinn.

It has an aluminum frame and a 250-watt pedal assist Hub motor, supported by an 80W lithium ion downtube battery. The 27.5-inch model is suitable for riders’ height between 5’5” to 5’10”, while the 29-inch model fits perfectly for riders with heights between 5’7” and 6’2”. The seat post can be adjusted accordingly without any tool, thus ensuring a comfortable posture.

The included kickstand is also nice because it mounts near the back wheel so it doesn’t get in the way when you need to back the bike up while the kickstand is down. Anyone who has tried to back up a bike while the pedals are locked with the kickstand will appreciate what I’m talking about. Lastly, the Marshall comes with integrated LED frame light and headlight, but with just a battery taillight.

The battery is mounted on the rack, freeing up space on the frame to enable users to easily climb on and off the bicycle. This bike has a six-speed Shimano gear system with a Revo twist shifter, allowing riders to move on both flat and hilly grounds. It also comes with full front and rear fenders to prevent splashing on wet roads. The 250-watt rear hub motor on the Schwinn Mendocino allows it to reach 20 miles per hour. Even better, it has a throttle function, so you can use it to go back home in comfort exactly like a tiny electric motorcycle. Schwinn states that its range is around 45 miles on a single charge, but we all know that this number depends on a wide variety of factors.

But, these two areas are where the S1 delivers plenty of promise. Overall, given the fundamental shift I have seen in my personal bike riding habits this mongoose excursion past summer, I very much enjoy having an e-bike. The Coston e-bike is a good example of that in a much more approachable price range than some others.

It comes with a rear pannier rack and a stealthy under-seat storage compartment which allows you to store small items that you want to keep close. The Coston is Schwinn’s most expensive e-bike thanks to its superior battery power and throttle for fully electric riding. Additionally, the bike is fully equipped with fenders and a rear rack to make commuting or running errands simple and easy.

The middle power/enter button turns the bike on while holding it. The battery has to be on before turning the bike on which got me the first time I tried. The market quickly became saturated until 1905, when most smaller manufacturers were either purchased by larger ones or bankrupted.

Fortunately, when riding, I can’t tell that it weighs more than my other bikes. Some of the added weight is attributed to the battery, which checks in at about six pounds. Despite my weight and the strain it put on the motor, I found that the bike really does have a 45-mile range on a single charge.
