The packed size is not so great indeed, but here too, you would use the car in any case, so the 47 inches (120 cm) of the packed length may not be such a big deal. Air flows easily when all screens are not used and the windows are fully opened. By opening the vents and the windows, there shouldn’t be any issue for condensation. When the windows are shut and the coleman sundome vents are closed, condensation may happen as some users reported. Leaks in moderate to heavy rain and tent corners break easily. If someone could make them out of metal it would be a great tent.
Like most 2 person tents this instant tent is very lightweight and super portable. I’ve been able to borrow the 4 person version from family and it was much nicer for two people. That being said for one person the 2 person pop up tent is absolutely perfect, and it’s a great size for kids. The smaller size does make the Coleman two person instant slightly better for colder weather as it’s easy for two people to keep it as warm as you can keep a tent.
On that same note, the Coleman 2 man instant tent will not fit a queen size air mattress, you will have to get the 4 person version for that.
