Surf, Skate, Wake, Snow, Motox and MTB New Zealand’s No 1 for Action Sports

The company currently offers three models, the KRGT-1, Method 143 and the 1s. Equal parts sport bike and cruiser, the 1s uses a high-torque S&S V-twin engine with in-house designed exhaust system. This 2032-cc engine produces 115 ft-lbs of torque, the brakes are ABS from BOSCH and suspension is a fully adjustable ARCH/Öhlins hybrid system. Carbon fiber is used through the motorcycle to keep the weight low, and the single-sided swing arm is manufactured in-house from lightweight aluminum. Yes this is an expensive motorcycle, but if you can afford it, there’s nothing like riding a motorcycle that was designed and built just for you.

With the re-design in 2019, the bike shed around 100 pounds of excess weight, gained more displacement, and was transformed into one of the stand-out bikes of the late 2010s. The Ninja H2® and Ninja H2® Carbon motorcycles bring the mind-bending power hyper bicycles of Kawasaki’s supercharged hypersport racer to the street. Boasting a powerful 998cc inline four-cylinder engine, state-of-the-art electronics, and the latest Brembo® brakes, the Ninja H2 and Ninja H2 Carbon amount to pure performance on the road.

Box GTS infotainment system that has Bluetooth, radio, USB connection, SirusXM (if you have the service) and a rider/passenger intercom option. Accordingly, the bikes are designed for fully fledged dynamics, powered by gas and endorphins. It’s up to us whether we relax and let the impressions sink in or dynamically race past. Equipped with high levels of comfort and attractive design as well as premium communication and navigation options.

The four-into-two-into-one-into-two exhaust system configuration uses connecting pipes from the #1 and #4 head pipes to help deliver more power and torque at low- to mid-range speeds. Like the prior generation exhaust, a connector pipe connects the #2 and #3 head pipes for similar benefits. The more compact throttle bodies made it possible to increase the air cleaner assembly’s capacity from 10.3 liters to 11.5 liters, increasing the air supply to the engine. The air cleaner has a rigid lid with a simplified internal structure that enhances the intake air sound quality. The fairing design permits high air flow through the radiator, increasing cooling efficiency as compared to the prior generation Hayabusa. Air flow is increased by 8% when the Hayabusa is in motion and is approximately 7% better when the cooling fan is moving air during low- to mid-speed riding.

Biviano noted that Page Green Road is closed at the intersections of Blodgett Mills Road, Starr Road and Ely Road for “an extended period of time.” Biviano added he is not certain how long the road will be closed. We’re not a franchised dealership and as such don’t refer to ourselves as a “dealer” we’re a bike shop. For over a decade, Juiced Bikes has set the highest performance standards for riding range, hyper bicycles battery power, safety and affordability. The complex shape of the impeller is 3D machined from forged aluminum for high precision and durability. The impeller spins at 9.2x speed of the crankshaft, reaching speeds of nearly 130,000 rpm, pumping a capacity of over 200 liters of air per second into the engine. The Hyper-X series is designed to match today’s generation of tapered steerer carbon forks.

Oil jets in the crankcase spray lubricating oil on the fourth, fifth, and sixth gears to reduce friction, wear, and mechanical sounds during high-speed operation. The chrome nitride Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) piston ring coating is harder and smoother than conventional chrome plating, reducing friction while improving sealing to the SCEM-coated cylinder. U-shaped cutouts in cylinder’s bores allow crankcase pressure created by descending pistons to escape to adjacent cylinders to reduce internal pumping pressure and mechanical power losses. The first rider-owned company, SE Racing, becomes a major force in the BMX industry thanks to Scott Breithaupt.

Visually matching the Hayabusa’s styling, the grab rail is reshaped and set in proximity to the rear seat so it is easy for the passenger to grasp. The longer countershaft accommodates the new-generation SCAS-style clutch and uses longer needle bearings to increase durability. The clutch pushrod length updated to match the countershaft change. The cam chain tensioner design minimizes chain runout and uses a Teflon coating on the slipper surface to reduce mechanical loss. Lightweight titanium valves with high-rate valve springs ideally match the camshafts to maintain accurate valve control.

The Hayabusa has the latest version of the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) clutch that delivers a lighter clutch lever pull than ever before. SCAS serves as a back-torque-limiting system for smooth downshifts while increasing plate tension during acceleration to ensure engine power is effectively transmitted to the rear wheel. The Hayabusa’s six-speed, close-ratio, and constant-mesh transmission can be shifted conventionally or with the bi-directional quick shift system allowing the rider to select racing-style, conventional, or casual riding clutchless shifts. Luckily, there’s no shortage of electronic aids to help you control this monster. If excess is what you are about, then the Triumph Rocket 3 delivers that in spades. An enormous 2,500cc, longitudinally-mounted triple-cylinder engine produces a mountain of torque pound-feet! – and 165 horsepower to give this near-700-pound monster simply shattering performance. Launched in 2004, the Triumph Rocket lll caused a sensation and was more muscle-bike cruiser than an out-and-out sports bike.
