Mongoose Argus ST Kids Fat Tire Mounatin Bike, 20-Inch Wheels, Mechanical Disc Brakes, 7-Speed, Grey

Mongoose Dolomite has beefy supersized 4-inch wide tires installed on good 26-inch alloy wheels. Even Mongoose can’t tell me the brand or the tires’ model, but I’m okay with mongoose fat bike that because they’re good enough to start with. Fat Bikes are becoming ever the more popular as people look for ways to ride up and down mountains with greater ease.

You get to choose from a Red, light blue and a navy blue colored frame, and although it is a little bit of a heavy bike, it will look pretty awesome. My first bike was a battered hand-me-down Huffy with wobbly wheels. It was a fantastic bike for a five year old to rattle around on. I saddens me to read such vitriol aimed at kids who ride crappy bikes and parents who don’t purchase the “right kit” for their kids.

The main theme of using entry-level components to drag the price down continues with the saddle and the pedals. The saddle is wide and cushioned enough for most people. I have never received a single complaint about the comfort of this saddle. The pedals are beach cruiser-style, which means comfort, stability, and simplicity—nothing special about them. This super-sized fat tire bike is suitable for cyclists between 5’6″ to 6′ tall. With this bike arriving almost fully assembled, there is little you need to do before getting on the bike for your first ride.

You will be happy you chose large enough wheels to tackle any surface condition when riding. Like the previous mongoose bicycles, the knobby supersized (26 inches by 4.25 inch wide) tires of this bike make it possible to ride on virtually any terrain. The Mongoose Malus 26-inch fat bike further has 7 speeds with a rear derailleur for smooth gear changes.

You’ll have to put in some overtime to pay for it, so don’t expect to see your kids ride. But that’s not what its about, its the value of the item that maters, not the amount of time and fun you can have with it and them. Seriously sweet, look forward to seeing many tikes bounce down the trails on these.
